CIMA Hermosillo is an acute-care hospital that was developed by CIMA Mexico and opened in May 1996.

The facility currently operates medical/surgical suites, an intensive care unit and a neonatal intensive care unit. In 2001, CIMA Hermosillo was awarded a five-year and a four-year accreditation 2006 by Secretaria de Salud de México; the only such accreditation in northwestern Mexico, and one of few nationwide.

In March of 2010 has been re-accredited by the Council with a score of 99.3 being the highest rating nationally.

CIMA Hermosillo provides a full range of diagnostic, emergency, medical, and surgical services. The 24-hour Emergency Room has a high tech trauma area and operating room, and is staffed 24 hours a day by emergency physicians. A total of five surgical suites provide both inpatient and outpatient surgery options. Ancillary departments contribute diagnostic and treatment modalities, and state-of-the-art imaging technology.
